Flex-Screen Wireless Reader

A somewhat flexible wireless digital reader is on it’s way through Sprint.  As reported from the 2010 CES trade show by engadget, it will have wifi and Sprint 3G capability.

The most immediate shortcoming of the Apple tablet and other expected devices in regard to their replacement for magazines is they do not have the tactile feel of paper.  The flexibility of the material, the ability to roll, bend, and feel it’s form has become a part of the experience.  Even the slight curve of a surface can give images and layout a nice quality.  It feels more personal than holding a monitor.

This is the first indication that a more tactile, and even thinner, technology is on the horizon.
